“True education is measured not only by academic excellence but by the compassion we show, the lives we uplift, and the communities we serve.”

Education shapes knowledge, but it also builds character. At Lotus Lap Public Schools, students learn that true success comes from kindness, empathy, and service to society. Along with academic excellence, the school encourages every learner to become a responsible and compassionate citizen.

Continuing this mission, Komatireddy Manjula Rani Trust, in association with Lotus Lap Public Schools, Lions Club, and Leo Club, organized a meaningful Wheelchair Donation Programme on 17th July 2026. The initiative honoured the cherished memory of Late Lion Smt. Komati Reddy Manjula Rani Garu, whose life continues to inspire compassion, generosity, and selfless service.

More than a donation drive, the programme celebrated humanity, dignity, and the power of communities coming together to help those in need.

A Legacy of Compassion

The foundation of Lotus Lap Public Schools rests on the vision of Vidya Ratna Lion Dr. Komati Reddy Gopal Reddy Garu and Late Lion Smt. Komati Reddy Manjula Rani Garu. While they transformed education for thousands of students, they also dedicated themselves to serving society with kindness and commitment.

Inspired by their values, Komatireddy Manjula Rani Trust continues to support underprivileged families, differently-abled individuals, students, and local communities. Every initiative reflects the belief that education and social responsibility must always go hand in hand.

Restoring Mobility and Hope

As part of its ongoing community welfare initiatives, the Trust donated a specially designed wheelchair to Sri Gajja Ramaswamy Goud (60) from Jupally Village, Charakonda Mandal.

A wheelchair offers far more than physical support. It brings independence, confidence, dignity, and renewed hope. With improved mobility, the beneficiary can perform daily activities more comfortably and enjoy a better quality of life.

This thoughtful gesture demonstrated how a simple act of kindness can make a lasting difference in someone’s life.

Leadership Through Service

Vidya Ratna Lion Dr. Komati Reddy Gopal Reddy Garu, Chairman of Lotus Lap Public Schools, and Sri Komati Reddy Abhishek Reddy, Director, formally handed over the wheelchair.

Both leaders have consistently shown that true leadership begins with service. Through educational, environmental, healthcare, and social welfare initiatives, they continue to inspire students and communities to make a positive impact.

During the programme, they encouraged everyone to support those in need and reminded the gathering that every act of kindness strengthens society.

A Collective Effort for Social Good

The programme received enthusiastic support from members of the Lions Club Nalgonda and Leo Club, organisations known worldwide for their humanitarian service.

Their participation highlighted the importance of collaboration between educational institutions, service organisations, and community leaders. Together, they demonstrated that collective efforts create lasting social change.

The programme was graced by several distinguished guests, including:

  • Lion Jali Yadagiri Reddy – President, Lions Club Nalgonda
  • Lion Ramachandra – General Secretary
  • Sri Kotla Bhaskar Reddy – Treasurer
  • Smt. Madhavi Sangi – Vice Principal, Lotus Lap Public Schools
  • Smt. Swarnalatha

Their presence reflected a shared commitment to building an inclusive and caring society.

Teaching Students the Value of Humanity

At Lotus Lap Public Schools, education extends beyond academics. Students regularly participate in community service, environmental campaigns, leadership activities, awareness programmes, and outreach initiatives.

These experiences help students understand the importance of giving back to society. As a result, they develop qualities that prepare them to become responsible citizens and compassionate leaders.

Through such programmes, students learn:

  • Compassion and empathy
  • Respect for every individual
  • Social responsibility
  • Leadership through service
  • Gratitude and humility
  • Community participation

These values remain at the heart of the school’s educational philosophy.

By combining academic excellence with humanitarian values, the institution prepares students not only for successful careers but also for lives of purpose and service. Furthermore, initiatives like the Wheelchair Donation Programme inspire young learners to become caring leaders who contribute positively to society.

The programme reminds us that even one thoughtful gesture can restore hope, strengthen dignity, and inspire others to serve with compassion.

A Lasting Legacy

The Wheelchair Donation Programme held on 17th July 2026 reflected the core values of Lotus Lap Public Schools—service, compassion, leadership, and social responsibility.

Inspired by the vision of Vidya Ratna Lion Dr. Komati Reddy Gopal Reddy Garu and the enduring legacy of Late Lion Smt. Komati Reddy Manjula Rani Garu, the institution continues to prove that education is most meaningful when it transforms lives beyond the classroom.

With the support of Lions Club, Leo Club, educators, community leaders, and well-wishers, the programme strengthened a simple yet powerful message: when people come together to serve, they create stronger communities and a brighter future.

Service. Compassion. Leadership. These values continue to define the Lotus Lap legacy.
